A plate of Anchor Bar

The real deal. How does it rate compared to our current favorite wingstop? Better. The wings are plump and juicy, unlike Wingstop's fried to a crisp all the way through method.

The Anchor Bar hot sauce is a mild version of the Wingstop atomic. It has the same black pepper cayenne taste. Heat is slightly hotter than Wingstop's hot. Which is what we kinda want, without going atomic.

Is amazon racially profiling me?

Just because I have an Asian last name and have shopped for groceries before doesn't mean I like Nong Shim! Well, I do... but that's beside the point!

The Larkspur Landing

This place is fantastic. For the amount of money a night, you get a studio apartment with a kitchenette and everything. The bed is fantastic. Amenities are great. $70 a night is a little high but the comfort is well worth it to me. I've paid more for worse. Bar across the street, plenty of restaurants and gas station right next to it. Love it. Absolutely love it. Would stay at any of the others if I'm in their respective areas.

Anderson's Pea Soup

Goin Dutch!

Hap-Pea and Pea-Wee

Some day I have to order this

Pea soup and chicken salad sandwich

Despite the 20 or so times I've done the SF to LA run, I've never stopped at this place to eat. Now I realize I should have. The food is fantastic, and the Latina waitresses are..... just as good as the food.

T-Bo's House of BBQ

Mark and I had dinner here Thursday night. It is FANTASTIC. It's where the old Rattlers used to be. It's legit. I had the pulled pork, and Mark had the Texas Twister Sandwich, brisket + hotlinks on a roll.

The pulled pork was served on a piece of toast, that when you ate at the end IS FANTASTIC. It's soaked up all the pork drippings and is buttery and has the smoky flavor of being on the grill.

They make BBQ in Kansas City style, Texas style, Alabama white sauce style, and 2 others that I can't remember.

I DO NOT recommend their onion rings. It was mushy, not crispy and dripped grease. The batter tasted great, but the ring itself was FAIL.

Sweet potato fries were a WIN. Mac and Cheese was mediocre.

Angeles Crest and Newcombs Ranch Inn

Just a couple of photos from Newcombs Ranch Inn on the Angeles Crest Hwy. Lots of bikes up there. Saw a Hayabusa, lots of Ducati's, couple of awesome Triumphs, Audi S5. I was the only Evo. An STI passed by along with an Exige in yellow and a 08 M3 in white. They make a fantastic tasting chili. Note to self : Go easy on the coffee next time I'm there.

There were a few accidents up the road pass Newcombs but I didn't go up that far on the way to Wrightwood. Apprently someone went over the railing. Saw the medevac helicopter. Road wasn't too busy, and most everyone pulled over to the side when I was behind them, except for 1 stupid van. Even I pulled over to the side for the bikes.

Will this be a regular Sunday thing? Maybe. Shane you need to take the 135 up.
